Advanced Cold-Pressed Manufacturing / Flexible BLE Labels

Flexible BLE Smart Label and Printable Asset Label Manufacturing

Yuli develops and manufactures flexible BLE smart labels, paper-format Bluetooth labels, and BLE printable asset labels for brand owners, packaging and logistics solution providers, asset platforms, and industrial customers.

Yuli supplies the label hardware and production handoff. The label broadcasts device identity and agreed project data to a customer application, BLE gateway, or business platform. Yuli handles label-side hardware, design-for-manufacturing, and production test; the customer owns the application, deployment, platform, and data rules. Interfaces are agreed for each program.

Product Format

A printable asset label with active Bluetooth Low Energy electronics

“Paper-format” describes the look and handling of the label, not the electronic substrate. The finished construction combines a printable face, flexible electronics, and low-profile power in an adhesive label form.

01

Printable Identification

Supports brand graphics, serial identifiers, QR codes, and project-specific variable data.

02

Active BLE Broadcast

Device identity, advertising payload, and operating behavior are defined for the customer receiver.

03

Low-Profile Attachment

Face material, adhesive approach, outline, and delivery format are selected for the target package or asset surface.

Printing and Serialization

Artwork, variable data, and device identity must follow one data plan

The print workflow depends on face material, label size, variable-data volume, and downstream equipment. When customer-side printing is required, compatibility is validated with the actual media, artwork, and printer path.

Factory-Printed Labels

Brand artwork, fixed marks, and agreed variable data are applied during production for ready-to-use delivery.

Downstream Variable Printing

A printable area can be reserved for a warehouse, packaging line, or service location, subject to equipment validation.

Serialization and Data Binding

Printed IDs, BLE identities, advertising data, and packaging records are linked under the project data rules.

System Integration

The label broadcasts; the receiver and platform process the data

A BLE label is not a GPS tracker or an asset-management platform by itself. Detection coverage, update behavior, and business results depend on label settings, phone or gateway deployment, network availability, and the customer platform.

01 Label

Broadcasts device identity and agreed project data.

02 Receiver

A mobile application or fixed BLE gateway receives nearby broadcasts.

03 Data Transfer

The application or gateway forwards data through the agreed interface.

04 Customer Platform

The customer system handles asset, location, status, or alert workflows.

Production Handoff

One controlled product revision from engineering samples to volume supply

Flexible electronics, low-profile power, and label materials are validated together. Sample approval, pilot production, automated lamination, functional test, and lot records follow the same controlled product revision.

Engineering Samples

Confirm form factor, print quality, BLE functions, and receiver integration.

Pilot Build

Check material compatibility, manufacturing controls, test coverage, and packing method.

Volume Production

Run lamination, programming, inspection, and final functional test to the approved revision.

Revision and Lot Control

Keep production revision, inspection records, and delivery lots linked.

Production Quality

Incoming material, in-process, and final checks are defined separately

Material Revision

Face stock, electronic components, and packing materials follow the approved bill of materials.

In-Process Inspection

Critical position, surface condition, and lamination quality are checked during production.

Final Functional Test

Power, current consumption, BLE communication, and agreed functions are checked on finished labels.

Lot Records

Product revision, inspection results, and delivery lot remain traceable.

Project Definition

Six inputs are required before production pricing

Use Case and Receiver

Target asset, workflow, mobile application, or BLE gateway.

Radio Requirements

Advertising payload, interval, detection target, and interface requirements.

Print and Identity

Fixed artwork, variable data, device ID, and downstream printing.

Power and Service Period

Activation method, target service period, storage time, and operating mode.

Environment and Attachment

Temperature, bending, asset surface, adhesive, and packaging conditions.

Volume and Delivery

Sample quantity, pilot size, annual demand, and packing format.

Applications

Active BLE labels for packaging, logistics, and asset identification

Flexible BLE smart labels can be developed for parcels, returnable containers, cold-chain packaging, equipment assets, and connected packaging. Sensor functions and location or status visibility depend on the selected hardware and receiver infrastructure.

Project Inquiry

Send the use case, receiver, and delivery requirements for review

Please include the target asset, label outline, print content, BLE data, phone or gateway receiver, service period, operating environment, expected volume, and delivery format. These inputs allow Yuli to define the hardware scope, sample plan, and pilot build.

FAQ

Flexible BLE Smart Label Manufacturing FAQ

What types of flexible BLE label programs does Yuli support?

Yuli supports new label hardware development, design-to-production transfer, and finished-label OEM programs. Scope can include label-side hardware, engineering samples, pilot builds, automated lamination, programming, production test, and volume supply.

How is a BLE printable asset label different from a paper label?

A conventional paper label primarily carries printed information. A BLE printable asset label adds active Bluetooth electronics in a printable, adhesive form and can broadcast device identity and agreed project data.

Does a BLE label require a phone, gateway, or cloud platform?

A compatible receiver is required to collect the broadcast data. The project may use a customer mobile application, fixed BLE gateway, or another compatible receiver; platform upload and business logic are handled by the customer system through an agreed interface.

Can the label run through a standard label printer?

Printer compatibility cannot be assumed from the word “printable.” Face material, thickness, label dimensions, media path, print method, and variable-data layout must be validated with the intended equipment.

How does a BLE label differ from a barcode or RFID label?

A barcode normally requires optical scanning, while RFID uses a compatible reader. An active BLE label broadcasts at a configured interval and can be received by nearby phones or BLE gateways. The right option depends on range, infrastructure, cost, and workflow.

Can Yuli industrialize an existing Bluetooth design?

Yes, after a manufacturing review. Yuli checks the circuit, antenna, power source, outline, test method, print requirements, and delivery format before defining which parts can be retained and which require adjustment or validation.

What determines BLE label service life?

Service life depends on power capacity, advertising interval, transmit settings, sensor duty cycle, temperature, storage time, and activation method. Final values are confirmed against the approved configuration and sample test conditions.
