RFQ Checklist for Cold-Pressed Cards and FindMy Trackers

Provide the dimensions, thickness, target ecosystem, modules, battery-life target, reliability tests, and expected volume so Yuli can review the structure and prepare a quotation.

A first RFQ does not require complete drawings. Product sketches, use cases, reference images, target ecosystem, and estimated volume are enough to determine whether the project needs cold-press manufacturing, FindMy solution engineering, or combined engineering and manufacturing.
Engineering desk evaluation of Yuli tracker cards, PCBA, battery, and smart badge dimensions for an RFQ

Product information

Product type, use case, target ecosystem, dimensions, thickness, finish requirement, and reference samples.

Electronic modules

PCBA, chipset platform, battery, buzzer, button, e-paper, NFC, BLE, UWB, LoRa, and photovoltaic layer.

Production requirements

Estimated volume, prototype schedule, pilot run, packaging, test fixtures, certification support, and outgoing criteria.

RFQ material can be organized into eight items.

These details determine the product configuration, structural feasibility, low-power design, prototype schedule, and production tests.

1. Form factorStandard tracker card, light-energy tracker card, e-paper smart card, smart badge, flexible asset label, custom PCBA cold press.
2. Target ecosystemApple Find My, Google Find Hub, Samsung SmartThings Find, BLE, NFC, UWB, and LoRa.
3. DimensionsLength, width, target thickness, local protrusions, windows, sound ports, button position, and finish limits.
4. ModulesPCBA, battery, buzzer, antenna, button, e-paper, sensor, flexible PV, and supercapacitor.
5. Battery targetBattery capacity, advertising strategy, buzzer frequency, lighting condition, operating temperature, and test cycle.
6. ReliabilityWaterproofing, dustproofing, drop, bending, pressure, abrasion, aging, and appearance consistency.
7. VolumePrototype quantity, pilot quantity, mass-production estimate, appearance versions, and packaging method.
8. AttachmentsPCBA drawings, structure drawings, BOM, product brief, reference images, target certification or compliance requirements.

After submission, the project team will review feasibility, prototype scope, and the next discussion steps.

Additional information by product type

Standard tracker cards focus on battery life, ecosystem, buzzer, and card thickness. Light-energy tracker cards focus on lighting environment, energy storage, and PV window area. Cold-press manufacturing focuses on PCBA size, component height, antenna clearance, and stack-up.
